that we ran out of time before everything got passed out, so if you

This morning we looked at the weather. We talked about landslides,
erosion
and such. Mrs. Thornburgh sang us a lovely song about Mr.
Sun.... :) After
reading we worked on vocabulary. We are doing Science words again
this
week. Mrs. Thornburgh chose eruption because so many students got
that word
mixed up with erosion last week. We talked about chemical elements
and
compounds. Mrs. Thornburgh showed us a periodic table and tried to
wow us
with all the element symbols she remembered from her last chemistry
class...
:) In math, we worked with some visual and spatial problems. Several
students showed their strategies for solving the different problems.
Then it
was on to lunch, music and play crews. Please take note of the
newsletter
that is coming home today. Lots of info about important upcoming
dates.
