MLK Day Monday,,, No School
Today we took a spelling test and a vocab test. The spelling isn't
graded
yet, but we all passed the vocabulary!! In math we worked on some
more
problem solving strategies. We are really getting good about
thinking of
different strategies that will work. In reading we took a new type of
Quarterly assessment called a MAPS test. The test was taken online.
We
liked some things about taking a test this way, like the instant
results,
but there are other things that we weren't too sure of yet. Maybe
with some
practice. During our lunch recess we had an lock down drill. This
was just
practice for what would happen if we had an emergency of this sort.
We
ended up being a little late for lunch and PE but we got to eat and we
survived. This afternoon the 3rd and 4th graders performed a
presentation
for Martin Luther King Day. We also had a short time with our crew
and time
for a short class meeting.
End Hunger. Pass it on.... <http://www.heifer.org/> www.heifer.org
