This morning we talked about increasing our accuracy in our writing. After reading we worked on our new vocab words and took a spelling pretest. In math we went over the test we took yesterday. We kind of got stuck on a question about circumference and diameter because we wouldn't let Mrs. Thornburgh move on until we understood better even though she assured us that we already understood what we needed to from the problem. We insisted that we should also understand the algebra behind it. (Mrs. Thornburgh was excited about our interest and motivation to really understand.) After lunch we exercized our eyes by reading during exercize time since the weather wasn't cooperating. We then worked on our project boards. At the end of the day, we put up what we had so far and then did some critiquing of everyone's boards. Lots of good comments and constructive ideas were given for making our projects even better. Our boards will be on display at the Multicultural dinner tomorrow night. We hope that you come.
