This morning we did a day planner check after several students walked
in and
said that they didn't know picture day was today. We will continue
to have
random checks. Please help us by asking to see our day planner each
day.
In math we started taking a practice WASL test. We will go over each
question to make sure we understand how to answer the question and
make sure
that we don't have any holes. This test and the review will take
several
days. After lunch we had time to write in our reflection journals
and read.
We then began our research on the Banana trade. Ask us about
bananas.. we
know a lot...:) We learned about how advertisers convinced people to
try
and buy bananas. We made our own ads using some of the same
techniques.
