Homework: Work on art project due March 13.

This has been another busy day in 6th grade. This was Historical
Figure
Day. We had Alice Paul, Julius Cesar, Janis Joplin, Orvile Wright
and Frank
Loyd Wright in our room. Mrs. Thornburgh even dressed as "The Tree
Lady"
Wangari Maathai the Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize winner. We had a
spelling test
and a vocab test. Some kids from LaVenture came and talked to us
about the
dangers of tobacco. This afternoon we rode unicycles in PE. We had
a fire
drill. We had a little primer about salad bar use since we are
getting a
salad bar at school on Monday! During our class meeting we went over
lots
of issues and discussed some of the things we are doing for our art
project.
We finished the day by giving the room a good cleaning.

End Hunger. Pass it on.... <http://www.heifer.org/> www.heifer.org
