This morning we shared news of what has been happening in crews.
Hard to
believe that the play opens next week. After reading we worked on
our math
fluency and reflection journals. In math, Mrs. Thornburgh showed us
how to
use EXCEL to collect data from our pretest. We did an item analysis
of each
question on the test and then we graphed the info to get picture of
which
questions we had the most trouble with. We then got our new math
books and
we used a strategy called SQRRRL to look at the book. We surveyed,
and then
asked questions. The next steps are read, retell, review and the
learn.
(Show what you learned. ) We then jumped into the math. We talked
about
where we see negative numbers. We had lots of examples. The one
that got
the most discussion was money. :) We talked the importance of using
credit
wisely. This afternoon we worked in crews.
