Homework: Read at Home, Spelling Test (study words from pretest), Vocabulary Test, vocabulary worksheet, fluency
This morning we watched CNN Student News. After reading we worked on vocabulary. After vocabulary we completed the math test that we started yesterday. If we finished early, Mrs. Thornburgh challenged us to construct 3 d boxes using nets. This afternoon we had our extra exerecise time and then we took a spelling pretest. For tomorrow's test we will only be responsible for the words on the pretest. We should practice all words once and then give extra time to the words we missed. Corrin had her country report finished so she presented to class. She did a nice job sharing about Japan and breaking the ice for others. Remember the presentations are due Oct. 28. The last period of the day we talked about comparing our country to Mexico. We talked about how to identify similarities and differences. Next week we will start putting our boards together.
