Homework: Read at Home, Fluency, Spelling ABC, Projects (work on)

This morning it was announced that Alyssa, Morgan and Felisha all made student council. We are very proud of them and know that they will represent us well. We had visitors in our school today from Ephrata. They were here to find out how our school is successfully raising WASL scores. We finished up our notes on the development of cars as it relates to what we are learning about in science. We put some good questions on the board. It was neat to hear from Corrin that she had gone home and asked more questions and learned more about our topic from yesterday. In math, we worked with polystrips to learn about the properties of triangles. We learned that triangles are a much stronger shape than others. Ms. Owen came in to sub at lunch so that Mrs. Thornburgh could go to a district tech committee meeting. After library, we worked on this week's vocabulary and then we got with our Social Studies teams to work on our country projects.

Sorry this message is so late in coming. After my tech meeting, I had two other meetings to attend before I could get back to my computer.
