This was a day where we really learned a lot of new things. This morning in math we first talked about what we knew about even and odd numbers. We had to prove every statement that we made. Mrs. Thornburgh explained that this was like algebra!!! We then spent some time working with volume. Mrs. Thornburgh showed us an easy way to picture 1d (line) 2d (area) and 3d (volume). We then used blocks to see how to multiply length times width times height to get the volume. This afternoon after music, we talked about expanding paragraphs into essays. We are working with our information about our group country and our class info about Mexico. We are writing an accordian essay comparing and contrasting our two countries.
